If so, I'd love to hear from you! I am currently recruiting for an experienced KS1 Teacher to cover maternity leave at a welcoming school near Cambridge, starting in May 2024.

As a successful candidate, you will be teaching in a Year 1 class on a part time basis (Thursdays and Fridays). The school offers a broad and rich curriculum for children to achieve to the best of their ability, and prides itself on the relationships formed between teaching staff, pupils and their families to offer the most valuable learning opportunities.

Your responsibilities as a Year 1 Teacher will include:

* Raising and maintaining attainment within the classroom

* Planning lessons accordingly in line with the curriculum

* Safeguarding all children

* Delivering lessons in line with the curriculum

* Supporting and liaising with Teaching Assistants in your class

Requirements of the job role:

* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)

* PGCE with QTS

* Strong knowledge of the curriculum

* Being passionate about teaching and learning

* Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary
