We are currently recruiting for a Yard Recycling Picker Operative to work with our client based in Paddock Wood area.


In this role you will be working as a Recycling Picking Operative sorting through commercial recycled waste so a willingness to work within a refuse environment with the need to be flexible and reliable are key.

Monday to Friday 07:00-17:00 with possible work on Saturdays 07:00-13:00.

Currently pay is £12.00 per hour (1 hour is deducted for breaks daily)

Duties:

  • To remove waste products from the designated waste collection areas when required - Must be aware of large machinery
  • To manually transfer waste materials
  • Recycle any product identified as recyclable on the picking line
  • Working outside in yard - Please dress sensibly for the weather conditions
  • Good attention for own H&S and others - Due to closeness of moving machinery & busy environment
  • Manual Handling
  • To ensure that all instances of client query or dissatisfaction are escalated to your management Team
  • Work as part of the team or work self-supervised during your day.
  • Due to location own transport is essential
  • Must wear Hi Vis & safety boots
