Yard Person & Workshop Cleaner

Full-Time

Hours - Monday - Friday (07.30am - 5.30pm daily) including ½ an hour unpaid lunch

Salary - (Dependant on experience and HGV licence)

Southampton

Our well-established, family-owned client based in Southampton is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Yard Person & Workshop Cleaner.

Duties:

  • Maintaining general hygiene and cleanliness of the workshop including staff room facilities, yard, and car park area
  • Good husbandry of all workshop tools, oil store, air lines etc
  • Emptying bins and removing larger scrap items placed in bin areas when required
  • Moving & parking vehicles in the yard to assist the technicians
  • Delivery and collection of customer vehicles/presenting for annual MOT
  • General husbandry of company vehicles
  • Assist parts department with delivery and collection of parts

Person Specification:

  • Must hold a full driving licence - HGV licence would be advantageous, but is not essential
  • Self-motivated
  • Enthusiastic
