Rapier Employment are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our clients team on a temporary to permanent basis due to their recent expansion.

Salary: £13.00 per hour
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Expected hours: 45 hours per week

Duties include but not limited to are:
  • Ensure that the washer is maintained.
  • Ensure that the pre-use start up and shut down checks are completed daily.
  • Complete the daily paperwork to give to your supervisor.
  • Ensuring items are ready for distribution by washing and storing in correct locations.
  • Support inventory management for tools and spare part stores, keeping track of all tools issues and returned.

Full training will be provided, with development opportunities and ability to progress within the company.

Required:
  • Experience of mechanical engineering.
  • Good communication skills and time management.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Desired:
  • CSCS card
  • Experience with hand and power tools including but not limited to drills, chisels, circular saws, jig saws, routers, grinders, and plastic welding extruders.
