Yard Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative to join our client's team based at their Head Office near Uckfield, East Sussex. The yard operative is a fulltime position offering £13 to £20 per hour depending on experience.

Our client is a UK based specialist construction company based in the South East, which has provided its social housing clients with innovative structural repair solutions for over 30 years.

They are currently looking for a Yard Operative to join the team at head office to assist with the organisation of the workshop, stores and yard and the maintenance and development of the yard and buildings. Work will also be required on site from time to time, along with the undertaking of deliveries.

The successful Yard Operative candidates will:

• Have a background in construction
• Have a CSCS card (other H&S training an advantage)
• Be an enthusiastic and proactive team player
• Be organised with excellent attention to detail
• Be willing to work at height
• Have a driving licence valid in the UK
• Have experience driving FLT & Telehandlers

Full health and safety training will be made available for the Yard Operative, along with training in various structural repair disciplines.
