Key responsibilities include

  • Running the day-to-day operations of the Yard
  • Driving and operating the Fork Lift Trucks (current license essential)
  • Loading and offloading articulated vehicles
  • Sorting and cleaning (manual) of hire and used mats
  • Yard / Stock management
  • Keeping on top of the day-to-day paperwork required for the operations
  • Management of staff
  • Health & Safety and security of the yard and machinery

Essential Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience of Fork Lift Truck operations with current license
  • Evidence of previous experience working in a similar role
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Be a good communicator both verbal and written (computers would be an advantage)
  • Strong team working skills
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Ability to work alone
  • Good work ethic and positive mindset
  • Current driving license

What we are offering

Competitive Salary & annual Bonus (performance/profit-related)

Pension Scheme

25 days holiday per annum + Bank Holidays (some holidays to be used during Christmas shutdown)

Full time role Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm (1 hour break)
