Travel consultant - Mon - Fri only! required for travel company based in Newmarket, Suffolk. Here you will specialise in selling Holidays from a number of Tour operators and cruise companies and tailor-make holidays for the affluent clientele in the area, in their worldwide department, Salary up to £28,000.
We are looking for someone from a retail travel or tour operator or travel call centre background, or perhaps you have worked in Travel selling trips and holidays before in the travel industry and you would like to work just Monday to Friday in an office based environment with no weekends and no late nights!.
Travel Consultant Responsibilities:

• Maintain detailed knowledge of a variety of Tour operator suppliers
• Provide high level of service to high-spending clientele optimising excellent communication throughout the client's experience from quotation to return of travel
• Tailor-make the client's personalised itinerary if needed
• Maximise revenue making sure everything is thought of for the client's trip
• Liaise with Suppliers and maintain a good working relationship and obtain offers for marketing emails
• Process payments

Travel Consultant Skills and Experience:

• Experience of selling trips and holidays to Europe and Worldwide from working in the travel industry
• Travel Industry experience of selling a variety of high end and mainstream tour operator Holidays,
• Travel Sales experience from either a retail travel or tour operator background
• Both Service and sales driven
• High level of communication and the ability to build rapport with, clients AND suppliers
• High attention to detail

Travel Consultant Additional lnfo:

• Up to £28,000 salary
• Mon - Fri - 9am - 5.30pm, no weekends or evenings
• Flexibility for occasional hybrid when needed, after a 3 month probation period
