Job purpose:
Delighted to be supporting a long-standing client in their search for a Workshop Technician. My client operates globally, and this could be a true career move for the right candidate.
The principal purpose of this role is to prep equipment within the workshop, install, operate and de-rig the equipment on site.
You’ll be based in Tewkesbury, but this role will involve travel across UK and the globe.
Full training on and off-site will be provided.
What will you be doing?
- Accurate preparation and stock and equipment
- Assist and support internal IT requirements, equipment, and staff support
- Onsite client support, operation, installation
- Assisting and training clients in the use of equipment
- Work to specific procedures, maintaining efficient processes for equipment preparation and return of the equipment within the workshop
- Maintain safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
What skills and experience will you need?
- Willing to work weekday & weekend overtime when requested, sometimes at short notice
- Minimum age of 21 with full driving license
- Full current passport
- Good inter-personal skills
- Pro-active, flexible, can-do approach
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines unsupervised on a day-to-day basis.
- IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
