Workshop Engineer

The company
A multi-award-winning manufacturer of consumable goods who have been operating for over 60 years and supplying bespoke equipment internationally across 70 countries. The business is family owned and utilises the latest technology and innovative manufacturing systems with an extensive customer portfolio across the UK. On the back of its success and growth, they are now seeking a mechanic/workshop engineer to join the team at their Birmingham facility.

The role
A Workshop Engineer is now required join the team at their Birmingham based workshop as the company expands due to increase in demand with key customers.

You will take responsibility for:

• Servicing a range of consumer appliances and beverage machines
• Stripping and Rebuilding machines
• Working from engineering drawings to build units
• Working within a team of mechanics and service engineers to ensure tasks are completed in a timely fashion

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Prior experience working in a mechanical environment.
• Competent working with electrical and mechanical tools
• Adhering to best practices regarding to maintenance, servicing and testing
• A positive working attitude and keen to progress

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Ideally NVQ/C&G/HNC in engineering or equivelent field
