The Role

This is a newly created role within a relatively newly formed team, with a focus purely on cash generation and improving working capital outcomes.

The role has 3 main areas of focus:

  • Reporting and visibility
  • Enhanced governance and accountability
  • Improving working capital outcomes

There are various initiatives and opportunities across inventory management, rebates, creditors and debtors, and in this role you will undertake a number of project management, reporting / analysis and governance activities, providing monthly reporting and insight as required.

You will support senior stakeholders in preparing for Balance Sheet Reviews and other internal functions with delivering improved visibility and heightened accountability, whilst tracking and analysing variance to working capital targets across key markets.

The Person

This is a high profile role where you will have the opportunity to have a tangible impact on cash generation, and my client is looking for a commercially focused finance professional, with strong project and stakeholder management skills.

You will ideally be coming from a Consultancy background, or possess significant experience of working capital optimisation in Industry. You may also have a background in restructuring and dealing with cash flow / cash flow statements.

You will definitely need to be a self starter, with resilience and the ability to get things done in a fluid and fast moving business.

Experience of working in roles where cash generation is a priority is essential, as is previous knowledge and experience of working capital optimisation from direct involvement in projects.

The Client

My client is an industry leading business who has undergone phenomenal growth, through a largely acquisition led growth strategy.

This is a very exciting time to join the business, and there are fantastic opportunities to grow your career internally.
