Hello, we are pleased to be recruiting for a Workforce Data Management Administrator to join West Yorkshire Police. This role is based at Wakefield Police HQ and is a Hybrid role.

This position is a temporary contract, working full time hours, Monday - Friday office hours.

Please note, you must have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years continuously at the time of application to apply for this role. This is due to Police criteria. Anything less will not be considered.

Key skills: Analytical mindset, process and data driven, keen eye around data quality, exceptional attention to detail, proactive ability to engage with stakeholders, organisation skills a must.

Overview of the Business Systems and Process Programme (BSPP) and the Workforce Data Management work stream that the individual will be working on:

  • Reviewing HR & Finance Data
  • The role of the Workforce Data Management Administrator will be to support the People Directorate lead and colleagues in Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), to embed the establishment control process, engaging with key stakeholders and budget holders across the Force who are wishing to submit an establishment change request.
  • Key day to day duties around this will include updating and tracking establishment change requests coming into the SWP team, liaising with budget holders and key stakeholders, including Finance colleagues to ensure data captured around establishment change requests are accurate, supporting the administration of the monthly workforce data management governance group, recording outcomes of decisions and rationale.
  • The Workforce Data Management Administrator will also play a key role in supporting the People Directorate with articulating and documenting our reporting requirements that will lay the foundations for understanding the purpose of reports, tactical use of reports and expected outcomes, identification of critical data fields and source systems and any risk or assumptions that need flagging.

Criteria:

  • Someone with an interest in an analytical/analyst roles.
  • Someone who is process driven.
  • Analytical/data quality background.
