Workday PMO Lead - Finance Transformation

Rate: £550 pd (Outside IR35)

Contract length: 18 months

Location: London, 2 days per week, 3 days remote

As a PMO Lead you will play a key role in establishing a PMO and then managing the Finance Transformation change portfolio of projects including Workday implementation, Business process design and change management including monitoring and reporting on progress against the portfolio plan, capacity, financial and resource planning.

Role & Requirements:

  • Experience managing a Portfolio of projects
  • Workday Financial Transformation experience
  • Experienced in resource planning and capacity management
  • Develop appropriate central frameworks and governance models
  • Understanding of the project life cycle, with experience delivering projects end-to-end
  • Monitor and report on progress via weekly status reporting and steerco reporting including financial and resource planning and project plans.
  • Solid governance standards to ensure adequate project management documentation, reporting and plans are in place.
  • Support the wider team to establish best practice and governance.
  • Board level reporting

Tools and qualifications:

  • Prince 2 or P30 Qualifications are desirable
  • Strong experience of project portfolio management tools and methodologies
  • PPM tool mgt experience - ensure that the tool is fit for purpose and implement necessary changes to enhance the delivery
  • Great communication skills - someone who will work with the delivery teams and quickly help with any blockers/help they may need
