Wireperson – 12 Month Contract – Staffordshire

VIQU has partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, who are seeking a Wireperson to join their central production team.

The Wireperson role will be geared towards control panel wiring, and the successful candidate will also support more junior members of the team in their development.

Key skills & responsibilities:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Wireperson
  • Experience working with electrical control panels and systems
  • Able to read electrical schematic drawings
  • Assembly and wiring of electrical components
  • Mechanical assembly of cubicles and frameworks
  • Bench assembly of electrical sub-assemblies
  • Monitoring and updating assembly record cards and electronic issues log
  • Liaising with Design Engineers
  • Qualifications / Certifications would be a bonus, e.g. HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering

  • Rate: £25 - £30 per hour
  • IR35 status: Inside IR35
  • Location: Onsite in Stone, Staffordshire
