Role: Will Writer

Location: Kings Hill, Kent

Hours: Part time – can be flexible depending on candidates needs

Other: Hybrid working arrangements available, salary dependent on experience

A small and friendly local law firm are looking for an experienced will writer to join their team on a part time basis. There are no set hours for the role, so it would suit someone that is looking for flexibility around their days/hours.

You would be the main will writer in the firm so you must have prior experience and require minimal supervision. The managing partner currently writes the wills, but as the firm are getting busier, he no longer has the capacity.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of estate planning laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to discuss their estate planning goals and draft comprehensive wills that accurately reflect their wishes.
  • Gather relevant information and ensure all legal requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with solicitors to finalise wills and related documents.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of estate planning laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the will drafting process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
