Job title: Wholesale Business Development
Location: Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire
Salary: Depending upon experience.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

The Role

  • This role demands a driven, ambitious individual who can develop this sector of the business. As well as managing existing customers you will also be identifying and developing new business.
  • The successful candidate will need to build a close working relationship with internal colleagues, and constantly monitor the market and competitors, to drive new projects and sales growth within the UK market.
  • A sound knowledge of food manufacturing, excellent communication skills along with a dynamic, client-driven personality and can-do attitude are key to achieving in this role.

The Candidate

  • Preferably 2/3 years’ experience in the food industry in a commercial role, however those with a driven, confident, and bright personality will be considered.
  • You will need to be proactive and possess high levels of numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience of working with foodservice would be advantageous.
  • An excellent communicator, you will have a proven history in developing and maintaining customer relationships, as well as strong presentation abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be open to travel
