Hays are recruiting for a job as a Welsh-Medium Teaching Assistant / Cynorthwyydd Addysgu within a fantastic educational setting for children aged 3-11, which prides itself on the positive vision it puts forward for its pupils. The job itself will involve you working in a Welsh Language Nursery Class. Your new role.
The role is confirmed long-term for an immediate start, working 5 days a week. Duties relating to this role include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting teachers as they implement their creative lesson plans.
  • Supporting students within a Welsh medium nursery class.
  • Working in small groups of children.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and enjoyable learning environment for pupils.
  • Working as part of a close-knit and efficient team with other members of the teaching staff.
  • Demonstrating a high level of patience and care when dealing with potentially challenging and disruptive behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, it is required that you possess at least 40 days of relevant experience over the course of the last 2 - 3 years and must be able to speak Welsh. Some of the key attributes needed for this role include enthusiasm, dedication, and a hardworking nature. Additional skills and attributes include empathy, calmness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships. What you'll get in return
