Role Overview: As a Fabrication Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of our production process, leading a team of skilled technicians and ensuring seamless operations. You'll oversee the fabrication of structural steel components using MIG welding techniques, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving efficiency, optimizing workflows, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of fabrication technicians, providing guidance, support, and coaching to optimize performance.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the fabrication department, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for structural steel fabrication, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee MIG welding processes, ensuring proper technique, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, drive efficiency gains, and meet production targets.
  • Champion a culture of safety, promoting adherence to safety protocols and driving initiatives to enhance workplace safety.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data trends, and implement strategies to improve productivity and performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in [relevant field] or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in fabrication or manufacturing, with at least [X] years in a supervisory role.
