Temporary with permanent opportunities
£14.00- £16.00 per hour (D.O.E)
Monday- Thursday 7am-5:15pm Friday 7am-1pm


Our client are a really long standing and prevalent engineering manufacturing business based in Daventry. They are now looking for welders to help support an increase in workflow to the business. Initially this will be a temporary role that has the opportunity to be considered as a permanent role for the right candidates.

Job Responsibilities-
Test and inspect welder surfaces to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Understanding engineering drawings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot as and when required, reporting faults to the production supervisors.
Set, operate and maintain the MIG and TIG welder machines.
MIG welding with mainly mild steel.
Use measuring instruments such as micrometres and calipers to inspect parts.
Adhere to all health and safety legislation at all times.

Job Requirements-
Manufacturing/ Engineering industry experience.
Previous welder experience (essential).
Welding and fabrication knowledge including punching, bending, welding, rolling and tackling (desirable).
Possess a level of manual dexterity.
Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge and competency to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Effective time management to work to strict time constraints and product products with the highest standard.
