Due to continued growth, MG Engineering has a wonderful opportunity for a Welder Fabricator to join their friendly, dedicated team in Flint.

  • £10 - £16 per hour DoE

About the role:

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for the general fabrication of our full range of products from small components up to multi story structures.

The Welder / Fabricator’s core duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Steelwork fabrication.
  • Custom machinery and equipment.
  • Fabrication and workshop assembly.
  • Onsite installation.


About you:

Experience within a fabrication workshop environment is essential for this role. In addition, you will possess the following key skills and experience:

  • Competency in welding/fabrication of mild steel. (essential) 
  • MIG Welding.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, produce cutting lists, then produce fabrications.
  • Competent in the use of workshop machinery - saws, grinders, drills etc.
  • Site work experience (advantageous)
