We are currently working with a busy engineering business based in the Daventry area. Due to an increase in demand, they are looking for somebody with good MIG welding and workshop painting experience to join their busy workshop in Daventry. You must also have experience operating a forklift.

Welder / Painter Position Overview

  • MIG welding steel sheets, base frames with fuel tanks and fuel channels
  • Taking the above parts to the paint shop and painting these to a high standard
  • Using a forklift to move parts and equipment around the workshop
  • The role will be mostly working at a work bench with some heavy lifting
  • Interview stage will involve a weld / paint test

Welder / Painter Position Requirements

  • MIG welding experience is essential
  • Experience painting within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience driving a forklift truck essential
  • Any welding qualifications are beneficial
  • Based within commutable distance of Daventry

Welder / Painter Position Remuneration

  • Salary £28,000 - £30,000
