Summary

As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

Salary: 11.64 per hour

Contract/duration: Fixed Term Contract until 28th February 2025

Hours/working pattern: We have 2 positions available both flexible working of 850 hours each, This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the duration of the contract.

What it's like to work here Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of the Welcome Team working at Speke Hall across reception and the vestibule of the mansion itself, creating lasting first and last impressions to all our visitors. Our team are responsible for supporting the welcoming of our visitors during the opening seasons of our other property within the portfolio – The Hardmans’ House based in Liverpool City Centre. What you'll be doing

Day to day, you’ll be welcoming our visitors and delivering a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can.  

We are the face of the National trust, and it will be your job to promote who we are and importance of the work we do for now and forever. Our value of ‘Everyone Welcome’ will be at the forefront of your daily service. Through our messages you will seek out opportunities through fundraising via donations and recruiting new members to help us support the work we do that we are so passionate about.

Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.
