Purecontent Media Ltd is a leading content marketing agency providing digital marketing, content creation and search engine optimisation services for a wide range of global clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Website Administrator to manage and maintain elements of one of our client’s websites. You will be responsible for ensuring the website's functionality, security, performance, and user experience.
This role requires a strong understanding of web technologies, content management systems (CMS), and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments.
The initial role is for 6 months on a FTC with the potential to extend based on project success, individual performance.
Role Requirements:
· Technical Website Management:
o Update and manage website content using WordPress and Gutenberg block editor.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices.
o Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website enhancements and new features.
· Content Management and User Experience:
o Create, edit, and publish high-quality website content (text, images, videos) following brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
o Ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging for the target audience.
o Manage user accounts and permissions within the CMS.
o Monitor website analytics and user behaviour to identify areas for improvement.
o Conduct A/B testing to optimise website performance and user experience.
· Communication and Collaboration:
o Work closely with our client’s external teams to ensure the website aligns with overall targets and goals.
o Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding website updates and changes.
o Document website processes and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in website administration or a related field.
· An outline understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
· Proficiency in WordPress and Gutenberg
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
· Problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Knowledge of SEO best practices (a plus).
· Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) (a plus).
Location and Hours
We are happy to consider office, remote or hybrid candidates.
Ideal working times for our client would be 08:00-16:30 but we can look to implement flexible working if necessary.
