Web and Graphic Designer
On behalf of my client, I am seeking a talented Web & Graphic Designer to join a dynamic website team.
Salary: Up to 32k
Location: Norwich – fully office based
Permanent and full time
The Role
As a passionate designer, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences and maximising conversion potential for our consumer audience. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential as you collaborate with colleagues to review existing pages, ensuring consistency in style and brand coherence.
Responsibilities:
- Design Excellence: Create visually appealing digital assets, including web advertising banners, email campaigns, and social media graphics.
- Style Guides and Templates: Take ownership of maintaining style guides and templates to ensure consistency across our digital products and services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other designers and developers to achieve functional yet attractive website designs.
- User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI): Apply your understanding of UX/UI principles to enhance the overall website experience.
- Brand Development: Contribute to brand development by infusing creativity into our digital presence.
- Communication: Be a confident communicator, both in written and verbal interactions.
- Time Management: Adapt to changing tasks and deadlines with ease.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Degree level education, ideally with a Graphic Design qualification.
- Experience: Previous in-house design or marketing experience, (not agency)
- Passion for Design: Demonstrable enthusiasm for good design.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- UX/UI Knowledge: Thorough understanding of UX/UI principles and webpage design.
- Software Proficiency: Skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD).
- Conversation Rate Optimisation (CRO) tests using Google Optimise.
- Building Marketing Emails
- Brand Development: Strong brand development skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Figma Experience: Previous experience with Figma.
- Content Management Systems: Familiarity with systems like Umbraco or similar.
- Front-End Development: Experience in front-end development.
