Job Title: Water Treatment Contract Manager
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Salary: 34k - 45k + Company Car + Bonus Scheme
Independent and expanding water treatment company is currently recruiting for a professional and commercial focused Water Treatment Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of healthcare contracts across the South East / Home Counties region. The successful candidate will have demonstratable experience working for an established water company, managing all aspects of water treatment works, organising teams of site staff and ensuring works are carried out to a high standard. In return the client can offer a competitive salary, alongside attracting bonus schemes and a company car.
Candidates will be based with good access to the Home Counties. Good locations will include: Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Reading, Slough, London, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Harpenden, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and the surrounding areas.
Experience
- Experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is essential to the role.
- Experience working within a supervisor / account manager / operations manager or contract manager position within an established water company.
- Able to demonstrate strong management and leadership skills.
- In depth knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
- Extensive knowledge of water treatment Health & Safety processes, and RAMS.
- Able to communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues of all levels.
Duties:
- Responsible for overseeing a portfolio of healthcare contracts, delivering all aspects of contract management from setting up and monitoring PPM works, quoting and organisation of extra works, overseeing subcontractors and maintaining profit margins.
- Managing site schedules - booking in works, raising calls, procurement of materials, collating paperwork, closing calls and invoicing.
- Maintaining client relations by attending progress meetings and site visits.
- Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and compliant company H&S guidelines.
- Managing teams of engineers and technicians, providing continuous development and training.
- Promoting a positive team environment and company values.
- Organising site staff and delegating work and responsibilities to the team.
- Surveying and estimating of jobs, through to completion and invoicing.
- When need helping out with water treatment / hygiene works.
