£25,000 - £30,000 + company car + benefits (Depending on Experience)

Requirements as a Water Hygiene Engineer:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer, including L8 compliance.
• Full UK Driving License is necessary, openness to travel around the Southern Central region of UK.
• Strong understanding of water treatment/water hygiene.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Efficient at working alone or in a team
• Proactive attitude

Duties as a Water Hygiene Engineer:

• Conducting closed system analytical testing and remediation in compliance with ACOP L8 guidelines
• Removing dead legs to maintain system integrity
• Performing tank inspections
• Water sampling
• Chemical disinfections
• Conducting calorifier pasteurisation to eliminate contaminants
• Cleaning and chlorinating water storage tanks
• Cooling towers (desirable)
