The Job:

Our client is in the search for a Junior Account Manager to work within the Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Ideally you would have been in a similar Account Management role however they are happy to consider a candidate from outside the Water Industry and provide full training (its about the right person rather than experience on this occasion). This role is reporting directly to the Key Account Director.

They are looking for someone with the right attitude and hard working to join their team and help them manage and grow their expanding water hygiene business portfolio.

You would be required to liaising with the clients, meeting them on site, as well carry out review meetings.

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

1.Be the lead point of contact for all customer accounts you are allocated

2.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with accounts allocated

3.Upsell services with allocated accounts.

4.Assist with incoming enquiries where applicable (alongside Key Account Manager and Business Development Manager

5.Manage contract agreements/ costs/ scope of work

6.Answer client queries and develop business opportunities where possible

7.Attend regular client meetings (as a minimum annually for each client allocated)

8.Manage in-house systems in relation to the client accounts allocated

9.Liaise with Operations Team in relation to the client accounts allocated

Skills Required:

1.Must have excellent communication skills (liaising with colleagues, clients, senior staff)

2.Must have excellent administration skills

3.Must be highly organised, be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload;

4.Must have a keen eye for detail/accuracy in their work;

5.Must have excellent level of IT skills;

6.Must be punctual, reliable and professional.

7.Ideally will have a client relations background and experience in upgrading and renewing contracts (but not essential)

8.Clean driving license

9.High degree of trust and integrity - comfortable with handling confidential information

10.Ability to work as part of a small team with a 'can do’ attitude.

1.Ability to work independently after training.

2.Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenging situations.
