Water Hygiene Engineer

Salary: £25K-£35K

Location: Dorset Area

Hunter Mason’s client are water treatment experts with cross-sector expertise. Our team of specialists has extensive experience in water treatment and purification, offering a complete solution including hardware, installation, contract maintenance, and breakdown cover throughout the UK. They have now identified the for a water hygiene engineer to join their expanding team to travel around the Dorset area, undertaking routine tasks.

Responsibilities

As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be involved in the servicing and maintenance of all types of systems and water treatment equipment.

This may include responsibilities such as:

  • Temperature checks and monitoring
  • Water Sampling
  • TMV Servicing
  • Shower cleans
  • Tank inspections and cleans
  • Chlorination work
  • Following a preventative maintenance program as instructed.
  • Providing same-day service reports as required.
  • Ensuring records are maintained

Requirements

  • Demonstrate behaviours in line with our company values: Honesty, Professionalism and Quality.
  • Taking pride in the work and service you deliver.
  • Good level of computer skills, ability to use PDA/Compliance system for reporting.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 parts 1,2,3.
  • Ability to make recommendations from service visits.
  • Previous or similar industry experience required (2 years preferred)
  • Clean UK Driving License.
  • Clean DBS Record.
