Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a successful and renowned Water Hygiene / Legionella Consultancy who have a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now looking to recruit a diligent and knowledgeable Water Hygiene Engineer. You will be carrying out various L8 compliance duties including TMV servicing, CWST cleans and disinfections, and flushing of little used outlets, across Commercial and High Security sites. Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, Dudley, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Shropshire, Telford, Walsall, Lichfield, Coalville, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Beeston, Nottingham, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Market Harbough, Leicester.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working on Commercial and High Security sites, carrying out L8 compliance duties.
" Extensive experience working for a Water Hygiene / Legionella company would be beneficial to the role.
" Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Will have excellent IT skills, familiar with onsite logbooks.
The Role:
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafes.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Carrying out flushing of little used outlets.
" Calorifier flushing.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Accurately updating onsite logbooks upon completion of works.
