Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and quality of water systems? Join our team as a Water Hygiene Engineer and play a crucial role in safeguarding public health through effective water management practices.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 year of hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties to a variety of sites.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Water sample collection
  • Temperature monitoring of hot and cold domestic water systems
  • Disinfection and Descale of shower heads and hoses
  • Water tank inspection, clean and disinfection
  • TMV servicing and part replacement (training will be provided to city and guilds)
  • Checking and monitoring chemical dosing systems
  • Producing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork
  • Building and maintaining a good rapport with the clients
  • Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be proficient in using IT packages (training will be provided on our inhouse system)
  • Administrative duties which will include the use of a phone/tablet to log your work tasks


Desirable

  • Ideally would have City & Guilds Legionella and ACOP L8 Certification
  • City & Guilds Thermostat and Mixing Valves certification Unvented G3 Certificate
  • a good understanding of both HSG 274 - Part 2 and ACOP L8 guidelines, although additional training will be given to all successful candidates.
