Salary: £28,000 -£38,000 DOE + OTE

I am seeking vehicle technicians of all levels who possess a minimum Level 2 certificate in light vehicles. As a vehicle technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems.
• Follow manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Perform MOT tests in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify and resolve vehicle problems.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.

Experience essential for this role:

• Minimum Level 2 certificate in light vehicles.
• Proven experience as a vehicle technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Previous experience as a vehicle technician, ideally within a main dealership
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• Must hold a full valid UK driving licence
