ASL Technical are working closely with a leading global manufacturer of luxury sports vehicles, seeking two experienced and highly skilled Automotive Technicians to join a small, niche team on a short-term contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have a background as an automotive technician or mechanic, due to the nature of this exciting opportunity any experience gained in either an automotive dealership or motorsport environment would be an ideal fit.

As a highly skilled Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and presentation of our clients fleet of vehicles used for press events and marketing activities. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they represent our brand effectively and reliably. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to ensure the fleet is in top condition for press events and marketing campaigns.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly, utilising diagnostic tools and techniques to minimise downtime.
  • Execute repairs efficiently and effectively, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards to maintain vehicle reliability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician or similar role, with expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair. 3+ years of experience in an automotive dealership or motorsport environment, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems would be preferred.
  • Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle repair or HND in Automotive or associated Engineering subject.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in automotive mechanics, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in vehicle presentation and performance.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and techniques for identifying and resolving mechanical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
