Your future employer has a fantastic opportunity to join their well-established, and rapidly growing business as a Vehicle Technician, working on a range of pickups. A very competitive salary of up to £30,500 is on offer, as well as additional overtime paid at enhanced rates 32 days holiday (including BH), a fantastic pension scheme, continuous training and much more. They are looking for an experienced service technician to join their team, to carry out servicing, repairs and fittings to a range of pickups from the customer and client base.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience diagnosing faults, servicing, repairing and carrying out fittings to a variety of vehicles. Full manufacturer training will be provided, but baseline experience is essential.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:

  • Servicing the range of vehicles the business works with
  • Diagnosing and identifying faults on the vehicles
  • Carrying out inspection tests and keeping accurate records of the results
  • Providing fantastic customer service
  • Carrying out repairs of the motor vehicles
  • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of the vehicles
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Working individually and as part of a team

Required experience of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment (garage, workshop, etc.)
  • Experience working on a variety of commercial vehicles
  • Previous diagnostic and fault finding experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • A full UK drivers licence
