Vehicle MOT Tester Class 4

( Temporary Contract -Ongoing Contract)

JS Talent are working with a well-established organisation based in Bromsgrove & Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Vehicle MOT Tester Class 4 on a temporary basis on an ongoing basis

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle MOT Tester Class 4 will include:

The successful candidate will be based at Bromsgrove Central Depot on Aston Road, however, will need to support the Redditch Depot for MOT & Taxi testing whenever needed to support and fill in for the full-time tester when on holiday, training or ill.

As an MOT & Taxi tester, you will undertake the MOT Inspections of our light Fleet of vehicles as well as carrying out Taxi MOT and 6 monthly and annual Inspections, with some additional accident damage Taxi and Fleet vehicles when required.

You will be expected to maintain and manage the MOT Diary daily to meet all the booked appointments as necessary and to report any customers or vehicles to management immediately that have not turned up for their appointment or have any major concerns or are refused from testing.

The Vehicle MOT Tester class 4 must have experience of working in a fleet workshop and have the following:

  • Experienced DVSA nominated tester class 4 (5&7 is highly desirable but not essential).
  • Taxi Testing Inc 6 monthly & Annual Inspections + Accident damage Inspections desirable.
  • Managing an MOT daily Diary Calander so that every booked appointment is completed & confirmed.
