Vehicle electrician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Vehicle Electrician to join our team in Salisbury, Wiltshire. In this role, you will play a vital part in converting standard vehicles into emergency response units, equipped with the essential lighting and sirens.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for the full electrical conversion of vehicles, including the installation of lights, sirens, radios, and other specialist equipment.
- You will liaise closely with mechanics and other technicians to ensure all conversions meet the necessary safety and operational standards.
- Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing electrical issues will be a key part of your daily tasks.
- You will maintain accurate and detailed records of all work undertaken.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and regulations within the emergency vehicle conversion sector will be important.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong background in vehicle electrics, with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Has a proven track record of delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
- Is a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
