Vehicle Damage Assessor

Circa £50k depending on experience

Basildon

Permanent/Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5.30pm) / Saturdays (Optional Overtime)

Duties & Responsibilities of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

  • Responsible for all aspects of vehicle damage estimating including liaising with insurance companies/third parties to gather and assess the necessary claim information.
  • Producing accurate estimates using computerised vehicle damage assessment packages.
  • Liaise with customers and work colleagues to help ensure efficient vehicle repairs and outstanding customer service.
  • Following health and safety guidelines and ensuring that a safe and efficient working environment is maintained.
  • Providing service level agreements, ensuring customers are contacted regarding repairs and non-related damage.

Your Background & Skill:

  • Previous experience as an Estimator or VDA within the motor trade.
  • Audatex qualification is desirable.
  • Experience within a Bodyshop.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
