Vehicle Damage Assessor - VDA

I am looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor VDA to join my client's friendly and busy team in Hoddesdon.

You will be working with a very experienced VDA and wider team so this is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills.

• £40,000 to £50,000 negotiable, depending upon experience.
• Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm
• ATA Accredited preferred but not essential
• Audatex experience preferred but not essential

The team work hard in a very fast paced industry to make sure that the customer is always happy with the repairs to their vehicle. It is a fun and friendly team who work closely to ensure that the jobs are carried out thoroughly.

The Role

• Carry out computerised estimates
• Communicate with customers to provide repair information and an indication of completion time
• Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation
• Record all estimate / repair information on in house system
• Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process
• Negotiate estimates with the Suppliers Engineer when required
• To identify opportunities for non-insurance related repairs
• Check for authorisations daily
• To maintain and secure allocated equipment

We are looking for someone with

• Proven experience or knowledge of working in the automotive repair industry
• ATA Accredited (preferred but not essential)
• Customer service skills - experience of delivery high quality service to customers
• Planning and organisational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability managing workflow
• Valid driving licence

Salary £40,000 to £50,000 + depending on experience
