Location: 6 month initial contract position based at Dunton (hybrid, 3 days on site per week)

Rate: up to £35.65/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)

Position Description:

Vehicle Architecture Engineers are responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. VA are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond.

Essential Skills, Experience and Knowledge

• Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management
• Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity
• Delivery of vehicle programs

Preferred:

• Knowledge of PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools incl Vismockup
• CATIA abilities
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred

Education:

Degree in Engineering discipline

Additional Information:

Role will possibly involve occasional travel to Europe
