Description

• Oversee and manage the VAT processes within the Tax department.
• Provide expert advice on VAT matters to clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimise tax liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with all VAT regulations and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with team members to provide training and support.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
• Stay updated on changes to VAT legislation and practices.
• Lead and motivate a team to achieve departmental goals.

Profile

A successful VAT Specialist should have:

• Extensive knowledge of VAT regulations and practices.
• Proven experience in the professional services (accountancy practice) industry or HMRC
• Ability to lead a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A professional qualification in accountancy.

Job Offer

• An attractive salary package around £45,000 per annum, with a range of £40,500 to £49,500.
