JOB TITLE: Value Stream Manager - Delivery

LOCATION: Melksham

SALARY: £55,000 - £60,000

WAY OF WORKING: 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08.30 - 5 and Friday’s 08.30 - 4

THE BUSINESS:

C4S-search are pleased to be partnering with a specialist in the engineering and manufacturing of respiratory protection equipment for military, law enforcement and fire personnel.

THE VALUE STREAM MANAGER - DELIVERY OPPORTUNITY:

• Communicate Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) effectively within the team.
• Implement best practices for achieving operational objectives.
• Provide performance and metric reports to the Site Leader for the Value Stream.
• Ensure production efficiency and adherence to lean manufacturing principles, reporting utilization metrics.
• Make timely decisions based on present circumstances and future vision.
• Coordinate pass-through, spares, and spares contract deliveries to meet customer demands and internal budget constraints.
• Oversee all aspects of organizing the delivery value stream while managing costs and financial goals.
• Supervise product procurement to fulfill customer demands efficiently.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels within specified targets and recommend solutions to inventory issues.
• Minimize past-due orders and optimize order fulfillment processes.
• Develop and adhere to the budget throughout the financial year.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• 3+ years’ experience in a management role.
• Computer literate.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic product training.
• Sage X3.
• Leadership and Management Soft Skills.
• ILM Leadership and Management L3-L5 (preferred).
