Validation Microbiologist

Are you an experienced Microbiologist? Do you have experience with cleaning and disinfectant Validation? Are you Immediately Available?

A successful organisation are currently seeking temporary support from an Experienced Microbiologist to assist in Validation for a new GMP facility. The role will involve activities related to cleaning and disinfectant validation for the facility. The start date will be in March or early April and is expected to last for around one month, full time, Monday to Friday.

Role Overview

• Collection, preparation , incubation and analysis of samples for baseline monitoring and cleaning validation.
• Review and optimise existing SOPs , protocols and Risk Assessments.
• Final Report writing for Baseline Monitoring and Validation.
• Assist in training staff on sample collection, gram staining and basic morphology.
• Assist in Final Summary report to conclude the validation.
• Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week (early finish on Fridays).

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of protocols and processes relevant to Microbiological cleaning and disinfectant validation for a GMP facility.
• Practical experience with relevant techniques including sampling, incubation, culturing, basic morphology tests and gram staining.
• Experience in SOP writing/review , as well as final report writing/review.
• Must be available to begin in March/April for one month.
