Validation and Verification Engineer

Tiro Partners are looking for an Verification & Validation Engineer to join a global engineering consultancy on a contract basis. This will be to work in the Nuclear industry.

This is a contract role, 12 months in length and outside of IR35. Hourly rate negotiable DOE

This role is offering a hybrid set up - site working in Derby 3 days per week, 2 days remote.

Job requirements:

• Degree-level qualifications in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Technical knowledge and experience either directly in the field of Nuclear Reactors (eg. Reactor safety systems, thermos-fluids, fuel/mechanical handling, waste systems)
• Experience in one or more of the following product lifecycle phases: requirements generation/assurance, verification/validation
• Experience of working with regulatory bodies such as the UK Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and Environment Agency (EA) would be desirable, but is not essential.
