Job Title: Used Car Sales Manager

Location: Carlisle, CA3

Salary: Up to £55,000 basic salary (depending on experience) + Bonus potential (OTE Up to 75k) + Company Car + Benefits

Full Time and Permanent

Job Purpose:

As a Used Car Sales Manager you will be leading and managing a controlled sales process through a team including Business Manager, Sales Executives and support colleagues through regular coaching, robust management and constant customer interaction with first and second facing activity at its heart. You will serve and support your team to sell used vehicles, with a range of add-on products, finance and GAP insurance whilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will also manage all sales campaigns and promotions that maximise sales ensuring we uphold the highest ethical standards

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets on new car sales, maximising opportunities to provide value-added sales for customers.
  • Help the sales team maximise profitability on all new vehicles and associated sales opportunities.
  • Provide a customer-focused approach to help as many people enjoy the companies motoring experience as possible.
  • Give the diverse customer base a positive impression of themselves and.
  • Deliver the most positive customer experience possible.
  • Anticipate and identify customer needs, and meet and exceed them by relationship building and taking responsibility for resolving customer issues and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Work with customers to the highest ethical and professional standards to build long-term profitable relationships
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and communicate this appropriately with customers.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills, providing clear explanations of complex financial matters to a diverse audience.
  • Grow and develop a Sales team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in high value sales environments with a history of meeting their own sales targets.
  • Experience of managing a Sales team to meet and exceed objectives with an understanding of the pressure to meet a variety of KPIs.
  • Understands the needs of both customers and the company, and demonstrates this in their work.
  • Able to work as a team member, helping and supporting colleagues in delivering winning customer solutions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of factors relating to financial management, including legislative matters.
