Reed Education are recruiting for passionate and empathetic Educational Health Care Assistant to join their partner schools! At Reed Education, we specialise in providing day to day and/or long-term supply work and permanent roles to our local schools and education professionals.

About the School: Our client is looking for individuals that are enthusiastic and motivated to work with children and young people to assist them in achieving their full potential. The suitable candidate will have:

• An understanding of Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) in Children and Adults.
• A passion for working with children and young people, while providing them with memorable experiences in school.
• A Valid Enhanced DBS.
• Experience of working with individuals with SEN Needs. 
• Experience working in a similar setting and/or transferrable skills and qualities (desirable, but not essential).

Your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 support for individuals with SEND needs.
• Managing adverse behaviours in the classroom.
• Conducting pupil interventions
• Provide day-to-day wellbeing and physical care.
