My client is a multi-national furniture & upholstery manufacturer, who produce beautifully hand-crafted furniture for the UK furniture market and big brands within the furniture retail sector across the UK, Scotland and Ireland. Currently experiencing an exciting period of growth, they wish to appoint experienced Upholstery and Furniture professionals as Upholstery & Furniture Quality Inspectors.

We are searching for several skilled Upholstery Quality Inspector 's to join our dynamic team and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Upholstery & Furniture Quality Inspector Key Responsibilities:

Inspect Upholstered Furniture:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of upholstered furniture to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Evaluate materials, stitching, padding, and overall construction to identify and address any defects.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspection results, noting any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production teams to communicate feedback and suggest corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production teams to understand design specifications and quality requirements.
  • Foster a culture of quality consciousness by providing guidance and support to upholstery teams.
  • Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, proposing effective solutions to maintain high standards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in upholstery techniques.

Upholstery & Furniture Quality Inspector experience:

  • Previous experience in upholstery or furniture manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects.
  • Ability to uphold and enforce strict quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and work towards solutions.
