SEN Science Teacher
  • Location: Silverstone, Towcester
  • Salary: £23,940- 35,990 (based on experience)
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only

We are on the lookout for a SEN Science Teacher who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs. Our school is dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences for SEN students, and we are eager to welcome a new educator who is committed to our vision.

Day to day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that are tailored to the needs of SEN students, ensuring that the content is both accessible and meaningful.
  • Employ innovative teaching methods and educational technology to meet the varied learning needs of students.
  • Regularly assess students’ progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote the well-being of all students by creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A qualification within teaching is ideal but not essential
  • Good subject knowledge
  • Experience in teaching science to students with SEN.
  • A passion for creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
  • Strong commitment to fostering the academic and social development of students with SEN.
