We have an array of Secondary Schools across Birmingham (around Sutton Coldfield, Aston, Erdington and more) that are looking for Cover Supervisors, these roles will be to start ASAP and throughout the rest of the year!
- A cover supervisor’s primary role is to supervise pupils in the absence of their normal teacher, they will deliver high quality, pre-planned lessons to groups of 11-18 year old students.
- A cover supervisor doesn’t need to prepare any work, as this is pre-planned by the classroom teacher, you will be expected to deliver the work to students, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused on the work set and provide feedback to relevant people within schools.
To be a successful Cover Supervisor we look for experience of 20 days or more working with children and/or young people. This role is a great steppingstone to get into a career in teaching. Ideally you will hold a degree, but this isn’t a necessity.
There are both part and full times positions available.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are holding a recent Bachelors degree or recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum).
