We are looking for an Underwriting Quality Control Assessor for a leading national insurance broker. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote working environment.

**Role Responsibilities:**

- Uphold all organisational policies and procedures with the utmost integrity.
- Proactively seek out and suggest improvements to streamline operations and reduce expenses.
- Champion the delivery of superior outcomes for customers, ensuring their needs are placed at the forefront.
- Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) reviews in line with the Quality Control Program (QCP) and established standards, including individual audits and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) assessments.
- Execute file reviews in accordance with underwriting or claims guidelines.
- Undertake desk assessments to verify pricing accuracy, documentation, and compliance with QCP directives.
- Perform pre-issuance QC reviews on selected files to ensure meticulousness prior to finalisation.
- Analyse policy documents to confirm the issuance of suitable policies that align with client requirements.
- Review files to guarantee adherence to delegated authority, Service Level Agreements, and other relevant criteria.
- Conduct call reviews to ensure comprehensive and compliant customer communication.
- Support the Head of QC in the development and upkeep of annual QCPs, including the presentation of findings and recommendations to Senior Management and stakeholders.
- Provide feedback and collaborate on quality-related matters with Underwriting line managers, including trend analysis and solution development.

**Skills & Experience Required:**

- Demonstrable experience in underwriting and quality control within the insurance sector.
- Adept at conducting detailed audits and reviews with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication abilities to provide clear feedback and reports.
- Proficiency in adhering to regulatory requirements and internal standards.
