My client is a Lloyd's Syndicate looking to appoint an Underwriting Assistant to help with day-to-day risk and aggregates administration in their Underwriting team

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Day to day assistance to Underwriters
• To achieve the required standard for all risk entries/document scanning and maintain all records required to produce an accurate Underwriting database
• Liaise with Credit Control to ensure all premium and bordereaux issues are in order
• Monitor renewal list and liaise with underwriter & broker to ensure all renewal risks are followed up
• Produce the required documentation for the Syndicate
• SLAs for slips and endorsements
• Assist with the purchasing of reinsurance placements and any issues that may arise
• Reporting across claims data, aggregates, UMC reports
• Work towards ACII qualifications
