Our client, one of the UK's largest Business Supplies/Services Providers, are looking to recruit a Strategic Account Manager to oversee their UK client base, in addition to developing new business. Working completely remotely (with business travel expected throughout the UK (managing your own diary)), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!
Our client provide a range of products/services to both Private and Public Sector clients, and are firmly established as the number one business in their industry. Their success stems from their consultative approach, industry-leading logistical capability and devotion to providing a phenomenal experience to their client base. Due to their growth, they are actively seeking the right candidate to retain/grow key strategic accounts, and to win new business with pre-identified account prospects. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing all accounts effectively to grow sales and margin, in order to achieve targets set
- Liaising with strategic decision-makers to secure as many selling opportunities as possible, promoting / cross-selling all company products and services
- Developing tender / pricing proposals and contract bids for new business, and contract documentation and revisions for existing business
- Researching, preparing and conducting customer presentations
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships, and liaising with all internal departments to ensure effective management of contracts

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Experience of providing a strategic Account Management service to an external B2B client base- Experience of working within the Office Supplies/Business Services industry(s)
- Demonstrable experience of exceeding sales/profit targets
- Full driving licence
- Fun, sociable personality!

In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £45,000, our client are also offering the following:

- Annual bonus (£12,000 - £24,000)
- £6,000 car allowance
- Full autonomy of own diary (working remotely and travelling to meet with clients when required)
- Incredible progression opportunities!
