This company is a long-established supplier of capital equipment to manufacturing sector and they are looking to recruit an experienced individual to join their HQ team.

This role reports to the Sales Director and has a clearly defined potential (and current) customer base across the UK. Largely office based, the role is all about supporting existing customers so as to maximise repeat business, as well as prospecting previously untapped sources. As such this is both a strategic as well as hands on role. Duties will include:

  • Competitor and market research
  • Telephone prospecting - marketing follow-up
  • Customer site visits followed by detailed proposals
  • Organising customer trials & liaising with suppliers
  • Creating targeted email promo campaigns
  • Project manage installations - constant customer liaison
  • Updating the CRM system with sales activities
  • Work with the directors to develop a 3-5 growth strategy

The Person
Ideally you will have demonstrable experience of selling capital equipment to the manufacturing sector, combined with excellent relationship building skills and the desire to join a close knit and supportive team within a successful company.
